One of the most important attractions for visitors to Kiskunhalas is the Thermal Baths and Campsite. The baths is open all year round to welcome guests who wish to cure themselves or simply relax. The thermal water of the baths was certified as being curative in 1982. It contains alkaline hydrogen, fluoride, and iodiferous ions. Doctors recommend it for the treatment of locomotor complaints (chronic degenerative muscular and spinal illnesses, inactive inflammations, osteoporosis, strains, sprains and sports injuries), for those in rehabilitation after an operation, for nervous problems, for peripheral circulatory illnesses and for gynaecological disorders. The hospital next to the baths guarantees medical support and supervision.

In the bathing hall there are three pools to cater for the needs of every age group. The water of the curative thermal basin and that of the adults’ swimming pool is 36° C, the temperature of the children’s pool is 32° C. In summer the three outdoor pools are opened. One is 50 metres in length and can be used for competitive as well as recreational swimming. The extra services of the swimming baths include a sauna, massage, manicure and pedicure, and a hairdresser. There is also a restaurant and a buffet.

Within the grounds of the thermal baths is a campsite with 100 spaces for tents and caravans. There are additionally two-bed chalets with kitchen and bathroom (spare beds are supplied on request). Guests not only have access to the baths, but can also use shower facilities, an electricity supply, a telephone, car parking and have the opportunity of dining.
